Valiant Psychiatry specializes in men’s mental health and speaks directly to fathers, husbands, and men carrying significant family and work responsibilities. That focus does not create a categorical men-only eligibility rule.

Clinical eligibility is evaluated individually based on the practice’s scope, clinical appropriateness, patient safety, the level of care needed, clinician availability, geographic and licensure requirements, services offered, and insurance or payment arrangements.

Valiant does not deny equal access because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or another status protected by applicable law.

Private medical offices are places of public accommodation under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. When needed for equal access and effective communication, Valiant provides reasonable modifications and appropriate auxiliary aids and services, unless doing so would fundamentally alter the service or create an undue burden.

Depending on the person and the communication involved, assistance may include:

• Qualified sign-language or other communication interpreters.
• Written information in large print, accessible electronic, audio, or another appropriate format.
• Reasonable changes to policies, procedures, or communication methods.

Valiant does not charge patients for auxiliary aids or services required for disability access. Patients are not required to bring another person to interpret for a disability.

If you need an interpreter or information in another language to understand or access care, call 801-252-6044 or speak with your provider. Valiant will discuss available assistance and reasonable arrangements.

If you believe Valiant did not provide appropriate access or treated you unlawfully, contact the practice in person or by mail, phone, or email. Help communicating a concern is available upon request. Valiant will not retaliate against you for raising a good-faith concern.

Depending on the issue and the law that applies, you may also contact an appropriate government agency. You do not need to contact Valiant first.
